Will there be any changes in the status of Benjamin Road due to this development?
Not at all. Benjamin Road will remain as it is today, a local road. But some improvements are on the way. One 350-foot stretch, from the Putnam Road intersection west to the railroad tracks, will receive new curbs, sidewalks and widening, plus road-bed upgrades to meet to city standards. These improvements are a result of the Springbrook Properties development. There's one additional change coming down the road: Sometime in the future, the start of the long-awaited bypass will cause the closure of the Benjamin Road/US Hwy 99 intersection by the Oregon Department of Transportation. For more information, please contact Springbrook Properties, 503-537-2000.
